Horrible service! One of their customers ran into me. They wouldn't call me for over 48 hours after the first time I called them — Mon. April 2nd — called every day, about 4-5 times a day trying to report the accident to their company. When they did call, they wanted me to drive my VW to the local (in Corpus) Chevrolet dealership. I said NO, this is a VW, not a Chevrolet. They would not come to me to see the car and the damage, they wanted me to drive the 30 miles to them. Then they decided that they would meet me at the VW dealership, but they WOULD NOT give me a rental cause my car was "drivable". Didn't matter that I was going to be there all day and then back and forth (over 45 miles one way to the dealership from my home) and that I had a small child that I had to get to and from school every day. That was not their concern!

We argued repeatedly about going to the VW dealership, they finally told me to call my carrier and that they would settle with them. I did that on Monday, April 9th, my car was repaired on Tuesday, April 10th! Amazing what happens with a reputable company! And I had a rental! I phoned both the adjuster and the person responsible for doing the estimate to let them know that I was on the way to the dealership (at 8:00 A.M.in the morning on Tuesday, April 10th) and finally heard from the adjuster at 3:00 P.M. That afternoon and never heard from the estimator (neither did the adjuster - couldn't reach her by phone all day he said).

I was then told by the adjuster that they might not pay cause I took it "upon myself" to get the car repaired without them getting to see it. I was told by their supervisor to go to my company and go from there, my company told me to get the car fixed and unfortunately the damage was only 206.00... Yes! $206.00 total! I was told by their adjuster that I "was taking advantage of their company" cause I didn't let them see the car. I had to pay for my car out of my pocket. UPDATE: they are not going to pay but 45.00! I am out 160.00!! Courtroom, here we come! I will not go away! I have reported them to the BBB, contacted the local news media, filing a report with the Texas Board of Insurance, whoever will listen. I want my $160.00! Doubt I will ever see that $45.00 check either!
