I purchase a Westin Safari Light Bar. It came with a mail in rebate for the driving lights that go with it.
On December 6 I mailed the rebate in. I made sure I had everything that was required. The forms said it would take 8-10 weeks for me to recieve it.
On February 16, I called the toll free number to see if there was something wrong with my rebate, since I hadn't received it. I was told that it was approved and I would receive in within the next 3 weeks.
I waited 4 weeks and on March 9 I called again. Carlos, the csr, appologized and put a note in the system. He contacted his supervisor and put a rush on the order. He told me that with the rush i would receive it in 7-10 buisness days.
March 23, I decided that it was time to call again. I was told by Rick that my rebate was approve and I should receive it about 2 weeks. I told him that I had spoke to Carlos on the 9th and that i should have received it by then. He put me on hold and came back to tell me that there was a delay in there shipping procces. The delay was now corrected and that there would be a rush put on my order. I should now expect to have it 7-10 days.
I asked to speak to a superviser to see what the hold up was. Alexis "the superviser" got on the phone and told me she couldn't tell me anything different and then she hung up on me.
On April 2, almost 18 weeks after sending the rebate in, I call the rebate center again. Maria gave me the same speech that everyone else had given me. It has beenn approved and I should expect it in 7-10 days. I went through the whole thing with her, every date I called, what everyone has told me and everything.
Her reply was:
"I'm sorry for your inconvineice. Your rebate has been approved and i do see a rush on it. You should receive you lights in about 3 weeks. Thank you for calling westin and have a nice day"
Then she Hung Up on me.
