I bought some notebook memory from Staples on January 15th. The memory was 129.99 with a $30.00 easy rebate. So i bought it cause 99.99 is a good deal on that memory. I submitted the easy rebate online that night and it said that i would recieve the rebate within 4 - 6 weeks.
So i waited then finally on march 20th I called wondering were my rebate had been. We were in the 9th week. They told me that i would receive my rebate by April 29th, i then told her what happened to the 4 - 6 weeks and the woman got angry and said they were behind on there rebates. I then suggested that they then do away with rebates and do instant savings, since they cannot do rebate's right. She began to be rude to me so i hung up on her.
I then called back and talked to a man who told me basically the same thing and when i explained that they say you will get a rebate within 4 - 6 weeks, the man said "i dont know why they put 4 to 6 weeks when it always takes longer than 4 to 6 weeks. I told the man the april 29th is 4 months from the original date that i sent it in and that is was a bunch of crap. He then said he would put a rush on my rebate and i should get it within 15 days.
I still haven't received the rebate to this day.
