Wells Fargo Auto Finance employs harassing practices for what they deam collection purposes. The calls begin less than 5 days after the due date and we are called multiple times per day. They not only call on the home number that they were provided, they also call on our cell phone, which they were never given and my husband's work phone which they were never given. The calls to our cell phone cause us to incurr charges and the calls to my husband's place of employment cause him hardship.
This account is many years old. We have never been over thirty days with it. We realize they have a right to call regarding the account. Yet, we feel they should have no right to call numbers that cause us to pay more charges and cause hardship at work. Particularly when they have been provided a good working number. We have also been harassed by collection employees when we have called in to make payments on multiple occasions. These calls have been elevated to supervisors that smoothed things for the time being, then the next month the same thing would happen again.
We are conscientious in payment of this account. We simply want the harassment to end. Can we stop them from calling during peak hours on our cell phone or on the cell phone altogeher and stop them from calling my husband's place of employment?
