I purchased a vechicle through Citi Financial Auto. The vechicle lasted 3 years before the engine and the transmission gave out. The purchase price for the car was over 7,000. And I still owe 5,600 maybe a little bit more on it. They called me for a payment and I told them I couldn't afford to make any more payments on the car, and then pay for repairs too. And I told them to come and pick the car up, and they refuse to come and get it, and they are still calling my house asking for payments.
I tell them every time they call that I can't make the payments due to me putting money out to get the car fixed. They told me if I was to put the car into the shop, that they would pay very little towards the car, and that I would have to pay the rest.
I went to the machanic to get a estimate on the car, he said that the car would cost around 1,500 to 2,000 to be fixed. Even if I get another car I would have to pay for the car that I got from Citi Financial Auto and it's not any good. If I was to get another car, I would have to make payments on it also. And that would be very dificult on a fixed income, for disability from social sercurity once a month. What do u think I should do?
