I received a refinance offer from Citi Finance Auto about 15 months after I bought my Pontiac Grand Prix. When I went to purchase another car from the same dealer who sold me my Pontiac, they found out that the interest I had paid prior to refinancing had just vanished. Instead of owing about 12-13,000 dollars, I owed 17,000 plus, which did not include interest. It was the full price of the car.
In short, I was cheated. Please advise everyone that Citi Financial Auto are cheats and swindlers. I will now have to pay this loan in full before I can purchase a new or newer car. I am 72 years old, and I really don't plan on exiting this world very soon, but it would serve them right to have to get the car back in their selfish, swindling laps. If there is anyone who can help, please let me know.
