I had my 93 Miata Radiator replaced by a RADIATOR she purchaed from her EX-Husband, (Claims there is a lifetime warranty on the part, her work, labor, etc). Radiator did not work, she billed for services to the car she did not complete,
Billed: $275 for the radiator (market rate is $130)
Billed: $75.00 for back washing system, (never did the back wash)
Billed: $150.00 for labor when it took less than an hour to install.
Parts that were broken or destroyed:
Thermastat housing stripped the bolts and glued the thermostat together.
Pin in radiator broken, a nail was used to hold the radiator to the car chasis.
Radiator only flowed on ONE SIDE, causing overheating.
I went to her with this issue thinking she would do a quick replace of the radiator and have her mechanic do the labor. She accused me of not knowing what I was talking about. Stated she did nothing wrong on the install and that the part she does not warranty. SHE BOUGHT THE PART!!!
She told me if I take out the radiator and bring it to her, she would send it to the manufacturer (HER EX_HUSBAND) and have it tested. And that I would have to have someone re-install it.
I ended up buying a new RADIATOR for $ 130, from 1 800 RADIATOR and having my mechanic replace it for $100. Oo labor.
I do not suggest doing business with this woman, she can't take credit cards as a result of some type of fraudulent activity in her shop. She over bills for parts, does not warranty parts, she will not warranty her labor. And, she uses her son as as an excuse that has "Terminal Cancer"? For always being on her cell phone when she talks with cutomers. Bad business all together.
