In Oct. I sent my 2001 Dodge Dakota to Allen Samuels Dodge to have the transmission worked on. The service tech had an attitude with me and said that the tranny had been completley sumberged in water. (It hadn't) Furthermore he said that the warranty wouldn't cover it. So I sent my truck to another shop where they found no water in the tranny.
In February of the truck had to be seviced again, but to my amazement, there was no warranty on the truck. When further investigated, I found out that Allen Samuels Dodge had sent a complaint and had voided out my ENTIRE warranty. Even one of the managers at Allen Samuels said that the transmission should have been the only thing voided out.
I have been fighting for over a year to get my warranty reinstated and now Daimler Chrysler says that they won't do anything to help us. When my truck went to be serviced again, Daimler Chrysler said that they would reinstate the warranty if they found no water in the oil. We had just had the oil changed right before we took it to get serviced. So there was no water in the oil, yet Daimler Chrysler claims that there was and refuses to have it reinstated.
Furthermore, I had the truck towed back to my house, which was in running condition when it left, and now it won't run. The battery was completly drained and now there is a knocking in my engine so bad it sounds like it's going to fall apart. The whole engine needs to be overhauled which isn't cheap. So I've been stuck without a truck since January. I can't afford that because I have a wife who's pregnant and 3 small children in car seats.
