It all started with a t. V commercial for 1800 bar none which prides itself in being the source for bad credit help.in curosity, I called the number. The lady on the other end asked for a phone number and said that I would recieve a call from one of their reps soon.
Later that day I get a call from a salesman who tells me (after a brief description of my and my wife's credit issues.) That he used to be in business for himself fixing credit reports. He stated that he could make a few phone calls and promised me that he coild fix my credit so that I could get a car loan no problem, all I had to do was come pay him a visit and fill out a credit application.
So, My wife and I went to broken arrow (we lived in Ok. At the time.) looking for better vehicles in preporation for a move to Md. For a new job. He explained to us that to fix our credit we needed to "Go deep" as he called it, with these high intrest loans and turn around in a month and file chapter 11 bankrupcy and have the loans that we just got refinanced.
So we found a vehicle that my wife wanted that day and started working a deal it was a 2000 audi tt coupe which I found out after the deal was done that we paid 2000 over the value on it and it had a problem with the gas guage. He said that they would take care of the problem but we discovered also later that they figured that into the price of the car and we ended up paying for that too on top of added features like a 700 dollar gap insurance program that would "Help us get approved"...
For me, I told him that I wanted a dodge dakota he said no problem, we can find those a dime a dosen 2 weeks roll by with them telling me that we should have one today. He finally calls me and tells me that he has found me 2 trucks to choose from so, I take off of work early and drive 75 miles for like the 5 th time only to find that the 2 trucks were nothing like I asked for in fact, one was a ford... I ended up setteling for a different truck and I also got screwed with the gap and a 2000 dollar crap warranty that dosen't pay all in the name of fixing my credit, Is it worth it!!
