I have a 1995 ford contour and I have a wiring problem under the hood. You can tell it has just got brittle and all the plastic fell off the wires. I called the ford company. It had a recall but it expired in 2004.
Well I have owned this car since 2001 and have never recieved a recall notice or the girl that owned it before me cause I asked her. But yet they will still not stand behind their car recall. I have had to put a motor in it cause the fan was not working right and the way the wires look. That's why I think they are sorry and no wonder they are having to close plants cause you don't stand behind your product; you lose business. Thanks
