Recently Ford Motor Company released a Customer Satisfaction Recall for their F series pickups equiped with the Torqshift transmission. The recall period is from 3-8-04 through 6-24-04 while trucks outside the recall period are experiencing the same problems. This can cost anywhere from $200 to $5000 depending on the severity of the problem.
In my opinion they released this short recall period just to make themselves look good.
But since FMC can't stand behind their product people like myself have to fork the money out of our own pockets.
What happened to "Built for the Road Ahead"?
