I've had an auto loan with Triad for almost 2 years, NEVER late on my payments. I made my October payment online on the 17th and apparently the system did not take my payment. On October 25th, I traded in my vehicle and financed through the dealer. The same day, I started receiving calls from Triad about my payment being late. This is how I discovered the online payment did not go through. Had I known the payment wasn't accepted by the system, I would've reported the problem and either resend the payment or just do it by phone. Obviously, the payoff quote the dealership received included this payment. The payoff is good until Novemeber 4th. I explained the situation to the Triad rep. Asked her to please document my account, and she stated she did but I would continue to get daily phone calls until the payoff was received. I told her they can't do that, it's violating my rights as a consumer. Well, I get the daily calls, every morning on my home phone at 8:15 A.M. Sharp.in addition, I get daily messages on my work voicemail. This is very annoying and consider this harassment. They know the situation, I even offered to have the dealership verify the information and was told it didn't matter, I would still receive the calls. When I asked as to what I'm suppose to do about the situation the response I got was, you can't do anything. The reps at Triad are RUDE, I'm being told I'm upset about the calls because I owe a debt, she was quickly corrected, I'm upset about the calls because the are aware of the situation and it's documented in my account.
How many others are or have experienced this problem? This company MUST be stopped! If anyone has their fax number, please share it with me so I can send them notice to stop the calls.
