Triad, financed my car loan, in which i wanted to refinance. So, i called their automated system to get an approximate payoff amount before i went loan shopping. So, after i send off marchs' car payment to triad, beneficial says i can refinance you including marchs payment, which i had just paid to triad. I had to call triad at this point and advise them about marchs' payment was gonna be a stop payment, and to get a payoff amount that would reflect triad not getting marchs' payment that had posted to my account but didnt clear my bank yet. So i did.
On approximately 3/13/06 i phoned the payoff dept at triad and advised her very clearly that the check just received by triad is not going to clear. She said why? And i said because i am getting refinance today with beneficial finance and i need the amount you need to payoff my loan with you now knowing that my marchs check is no good. After being put on hold, she came back and said if you payoff witin 10days, with march not being paid for the stop payment, it will be $17,705.60 if paid by 3/23/06. And she was 100% clear on why i was calling her.
So beneficial sent triad the amount she gave me on 3/13/06 of $17,705.60, in which they received on 3/21/06. Now today, 4/24/06 they say i owe them $412.74. I called and spoke w / an andy r. Lead agent & supervioser of cust svc. K a williams and they listened, they are leaving their soon to confirmed employee error of $412.74. This can affect my credit, my title is now being held up due to this error which is causing benenficial to put deadlines on me for title now. I am in such disbelief that they are accepting no responsibility on this at all, and putting it all on me. Please help!!
