Lynx services handles all glass claims for State Farm (excellent Ins Co) When I needed a glass repair I requested my local volvo dealer who sold me my car and I was told by lynx services volvo was a non provider and I would have to pay the difference above my deductible ($0) for that piece of glass. I found a company who advertises acceptance of all insurance pay outs, specifically lynx services.
I requested lynx to deal w / www.89glass.com for the repair so I wouldn't be required to pay out of pocket and the deal was done directly between those 2 companies. I was never notified by either what the final payout of the claim would be. 89 glass did not show to make the repair as scheduled...
Later I found out that 89 glass charged $855.00 to lynx services for the repair and it was not questioned and would have been billed to State Farm. MY local volvo dealer charged $355.21. Hum...
I had the local neighbor volvo dealer do the repair, lynx said becuase i cancelled my clain w / 89 glass, i now had to pay for the repair upfront and submit it to State Farm agent for reimbursement. Why are my Ins premiums so high?
