Our Volvo has an electrical problem, so we made an appointment to have it repaired. They worked on the car for maybe an hour and called to say they did not find the problem and we would need to reschedule to try to get behind the dashboard as this is where he felt the problem was. All fine and good.
Picked up the car and brought it home and my wife noticed the shifter (automatic) was wobbley and loose and did not lock into place. It is her car and the shifter was in fine condition when we took it in. Basically, it came out that the mechanic forced the shifter when it was locked, instead of pressing the shiftlock override button, breaking the shifter.
After much confrontation and run around they agreed to fix it, which to their credit they did. However, after picking the car up the second time, it is now running horribly and it seems like it's timing is off. The car has no power and it stutters. We are now looking for an honest mechanic
