Over 7 months ago, Firestone installed a new clutch kit on my 2002 Nissan Sentra. On the way home I noticed the speedometer wasn't working. I took it back that day. They attached the wire they knocked off. On my way home (again) I noticed the engine temperature gauge wasn't working. I took it back that day (again). They studied wiring schematics and fixed that problem. The next day the clutch peddle was depressing stiffly and the shifter wasn't going into gear smoothly.
Seven months later (today) the shifter would hardly go into gear. My regular (HONEST) mechanic told me to take it back to Firestone to have them disassemble the clutch to find out what was the problem.
SO, today I took the car to Firestone, and all they did was adjust the clutch peddle so that the shifter would go into gear... For about 1/2 hour. Now it's difficult to get into gear again!"Committed to providing a positive customer experience" is their motto. They ought to be committed to a psyc ward! They've wasted my VALUABLE time. DO NOT do business with these guys!!! They will jerk you around!
