Overcharged for labor on motorcycle, jerks to deal with, took advantage of women ripoff

This company had two of my four-wheelers in for service for over two months. I brought them during the winter season so they would not be there during a Spring rush. When dropped off, one cycle was not moving, it runs fine, needed gear work. I had the shifter tied on the handlebar because it was off, and asked for that to be repaired also.

After two months of numerous calls on when it would done, the owner's reply was we replaced the coil, and shifter, one of the parts was on back order, and your total is $354.05 for 3 hours labor. Both parts are accessible on the outside of the bike, nothing needed to be removed to repair, besides it did NOT need a coil, bike started and ran fine. He charged THREE hours of labor, and to end it all, he NEVER looked at the problem it was brought in for, NOT MOVING. He said it needs rear end work and never looked at the rear end, the reason it was brought in to begin with.

The other four wheeler was brought in what was thought to be a starter/solenoid issue, and asked to change the Oil. He charged for THREE hours of labor again, to change the oil and a battery. That's it!

When I picked up the four wheeler up that had an oil change, I questioned the labor charge, he claimed to remove the plastic, I argued the fact of three hours, to change oil. I paid with a debit card.

The other four wheeler was picked up a month later when he finally claimed it was done, after a heated debate on the telephone. I asked to see the bike before I paid it for it, HE REFUSED, claiming it looked just like it did when I brought it in, and I walked through the shop prior to that and could not find the bike anywhere, he had it hidden somewhere. When I went to pay, he refused my debit card, and said he wanted CASH only, $354.05. I told him he took my card last time, and he said not this time. He was very rude.

I took my cycle to another shop and they fixed it within one week, and only charged 2 hours labor for rear end work. So it proves to me how bad a business CEDAR CYCLE in Cedar Springs, MI truly is and rip off the public.
