I brought my car to Firestone to fix the coolant leak. But the service person said he could not get the hood open. When trying to open the hood the service person damage the hood release. I have been able to open the without any problems, until bring it to Firestone. The service person told me they had to open the hood by taking off the bumper, which was strange since all they had to do is remove 2 bolts and the hood would open. The service person told me he would need to install a new hood release wire. As for the coolant leak, I was told it would need a new radiator and a new cap for the coolant reservoir. Note here that when I brought my car to Firestone I only need to fix to coolant leak. I had not had any other problems with my car before bring it to Firestone. Now after keeping my car for days I am now told I have a battery light on my dash. I have never had any light displaying on my dash before bring it to Firestone. Now I am told I the service person has been trying to install fuses to the alternator in my car that keep blowing. I have been driving my car for sometime without a problem except it was leaking water.
