I would think that the Military would protect Soldiers from certain business like Firestone, not only do they take advantage of the lower enlisted, they also try to take advantage of Females when they go in alone. I am a Female and I went in 3 times for the same problem and my car is still leaking oil. I was told the 1st time that the oil filter was leaking and they insisted on changing it, when I told them no because I had it done about 3 weeks earlier and would return back to Quik lube, all of sudden I was told by Firestone they tighten it up but I need a valve cover gasket which cost in the hundreds. I ended up getting it done and when I got home I noticed my car has a class 3 leak now I have to return to Firestone tomorrow again which will make the 4th time!!! I pray my car makes it because now the oil has to be low. I am so tired of having to plan my day around FIRESTONE!!! I'm in that place at least once a week with the same problem and each time they are telling me another problem and a BIG price. I'm begining to wonder did they really put the parts on. I will start asking for all my old parts to be put in my car afterwards no matter what even if they are on post, we as Soldiers are not protected. Once I get this problem resolved I will NEVER go back to Firestone again and I will warn all Soldiers and Females alike if you do go to Firestone take a Mechanic with you.
