In March I purchased a 250 cc Chinese scooter.in South Carolina a 250cc has to be titled and tagged as a motorcycle. I had to wait for all the paperwork to come in and buy insurance before i could get it legal. The scooter arrived in the original manufacturers crate and was in perfect condition. I finally got it legal around the first of may.
On the 13th of June, a clear, dry, beautiful sunny day, on a straight road a man turned left dead in front of me. Lucky for me i was only running about 20 mph so i was not seriously injured. The driver of the car did not stop when i impacted his car, he pulled on across the road and parked, in doing so he totally destroyed the front of the scooter, plus a lot more.
The police were called and he was sited, the wreck was his fault, there was no doubt about that, so i was not going to have any problem. That is when i started dealing with state auto insurance.
