Ripoff Lousy workmanship, 4 tries to get it right, still messed up

My wife did some damage to the right side front end of her car so I took it into Les Schwab for repair. $1600 dollars later I get her car back. Alighnment, tires, rack and pinion, cv boot and axle, and strut. It pulled to the right, rattled over bumps, squeeked and clunked.

Les Schwab had gotten parts out of the junk yard (rusty with hand written part number in typical junk yard fashion) that were worn out and had installed them. I have taken it back three times to have the repairs repaired, under warranty, and the last time they tried to charge me another $600.

But now since the last repair (four times total), the front end is in worse condition than when I took it back the second time. When we go down a gravel road it sounds like tie rod ends flopping around, rattle, bang and squeek. I jacked up the car and grabbed the tire and was able to shake it around about an inch side to side.

We had, prior to this incident, a new set of shocks and struts and tires put on. The new shocks made a loud banging noise over the bumps. They tried to blame it on the brakes and everything else. Finally we made them take the shocks off and sure enough you could hold one and shake it and hear something knock around. It could also be easily compressed by hand. So new shocks were put back on. Only problem is, even when we do a slow crawl over speed bumps, the shocks bottom out.

Put two people in back, the shocks bottom out. Its like someone sand blasted old shocks and painted them and installed them as new. I dont know what brand they are but they really suck.

While we were there, someone else came in with the same bad shock problem. Which made me wonder did they put our old shock back on the shelf to sell it to someone else, or is there a serious problem with the manufacturer in which they should discontinue business with this cheap shock maker.

But then if they recycle worn out junk yard parts, sell them as new, and do really poor work, why not repaint worn out shocks and sell them as new?

If your going to do poor business practices, why not go all the way? There is a very large population base in Monroe that will no longer do business with Les Schwab and I have to join the ranks. Problem now is that I have to pay someone else to repair what I paid them to repair. Thanks a lot.
