The wife and i decided to go to humperdinks in addission for my birthday steak dinner, we were seated in a booth and the waitress left, the table was to far up againist my wife so we opt to move to a normal table, we looked at the menu and decided on the valentine dinner for 2, which we ordered 2 steakes, 2 patotoes stuffed, and a ontray to share, (cheese sticks) i ask the waittress does this come with a salad
Thinking it does because any where elese you go for a steak dinner the salad come with the meal, well the waitress said i dunno so she left and went to ask the manager, she came back and said uh no its not included, i ask okay how much extra is the salad she promtely answered 4.99 (now mind you the meal already is setting at 39.95) so we said thats okay, i ordered my steak with a little pink in the meat, my wife ordered fairley done, our tea came and it was very overley sweet almost like syrup (not to our liking) while waiting for dinner to arrive, our cheese sticks come and there is 6 small sticks to share between us! Sometime later our food comes and a man delivers to our table, he sets the plates down as my wife instucts, he gets the mediem rare and we realize after the food is tabled that the patoto's are cold and there is nothing in the middle of them which was ordered loaded, then we realize the man that delivered the food to our table, was the manager and he took the plates back to the kitchen and we were left with no food while the patotos were being prepaired right, then here comes the food again by the manager, he sits the mediem rare (mine) infront of her and hers infront of me, the patotoes looked good, so we began to dine unknowing the differance to a few minutes later, i told my wife this isnt mediem rare, she looked at her meat hers was, the manager comes out to see how everything was and i told him you gave me her plate, my plate to her... I was suppose to get the medium rare, showing him my meat he replys im sorry and returns to the kitchen / to the back... Now the reason it took a few minutes to realize the differance is because, you would think the staff would know apples from oranges
Meaning the differance between the plates, after all they had a onion ring on the plate i was served which i thought served as the differance of the plates, then i realized the meat i was eating was a little dry thats when i began to look at the meat and noticed the differance, but again being the manager you would think this would not be a issue of determanation since he tabled the meal not once but twice..
Again it was my birthday feb-14, thankyou humperdinks/staff for the birthday meal / nightmare we will not return...
