When i notified the owner of extremely slow customer service and that just trying to order soft drinks, the owner, randy pounds, just shrugged it off and showed no concern. When i stated that wasn't very good customer service randy told me and the 2 people with me to leave.
As he grabbed my right arm to pull me out of the booth my glass of ice tea spilled and the glass broke. Then randy told me to stay while he called the police.
As he had already told me to leave, my husband and i went up to the front to pay for the drinks and the broken glass. At this point he said "no" and grabbed my arms for a 3rd time and turned me towards the front doors.
As i stepped into the parking lot, mr pounds told me i had to stay for the police. (he'd had also grabbed an $8 gift certificate out of the 3rd party at our tables hand). As i backed out mr pounds was standing to the right rear side of my car. As i backed up he didn't have to move a muscle but screamed into the phone (911) that i was trying to run over him.
Tried to charge me with not paying although is on the 911 tape the we offered and he refused. Said i broke the glass on purpose and tried to charge me with vandalism. Although if he hadn't grabbed my arm the tea would not have been knocked over.
Ended up charging him with battery and theft for taking a pre paid for gift certicate. If you want good customer service and an owner who cares "don't" go to any ihop in the boise idaho valley as the same person owns all three.
