My wife and I walked into Rick's at 9pm on Saturday evening. We both work hard all week and look forward to our Sat night dates, even after 24 years! As we walked in, the owner opened us up with "welcome, but you need to get your order in quick". This should have been our warning to get out fast! Before we sat, the waitress was putting bread and water on the table. Within 30 seconds of ordering the salad arrived. Three minutes later, as we were in the middle of eating our salads, the waitress put down our entrees, half cooked.
When we told the owner how we were being treated, she said there are two sides to every story!!! And that the kitchen was very hot, and the staff was tired. (Our Problem?) She said we should be more understanding. We are in our early fifties, eat our several times per week, and I have to say this was the worst experience in many, many years.
I teach customer service, and if you can't treat a customer correctly, don't just take their money!!
