October 18 I recieved a call on my cell phone as well from a female telemarketer offereing me a preapproved Visa with a 2,000 dollar limit for a one time fee of $299.00. I told the young lady that I did not have it at that time, but I would around the begining of November. The lady informed me that if I took the offer today I could then call back & change the withdrawal date. Well I went to call & change the date, when a young man answered, once I went to ask to change the date, he responded with attitude explaining how I could not change the date, because it wasn't 3 days in advance. That is when I started asking all types of questions... His name in full, the company's name, which he couldn't answer with out mubbling. Then last but least, I asked him for his website information. His responce was I don't have it on me right now. At that moment I hung up & looked up the company page, nothing came up, so I googled it... I found all the ripoff statements from people all over the world. Immediately I call my bank to inform them. The response from my bank was that they had heard about this same situations from other people. My bank quickly closed my account, so they couldn't take the money. My bank then made a report, incase this repeated itself. I want this company found & held responsible for fraud. Plus I want to say THANK YOU! For all the people that made statements. This really helped me save myself & hopefully others.
