GE Capital Services phoned to tell me I had missed my first payment on my Abt credit card. No statement was received. I called, explained the situation, paid over the phone and was told by the representative that the late fee was waived. I next tried to register my account online to avoid such problems. I could not register the account online.in talking to a representative about this, I learned that in fact the late fee had not been waived. We could not get my account activated for online access.
