In May I paid off my Ocwen loan.in June Ocwen held the payoff funds in an account called "suspense". I called and inquired as to why the account was still showing open and a release had not been issued to show the loan as paid off.in June Ocwen finally processed the payoff, however, since they processed my May payment in June Ocwen reported me late for the month of May.
16 months, dozens of phone calls, two letters and supposedly three "corrections to the credit report" later, I am still fighting for Ocwen to correct the 30 day late on my credit report. As of today, 9/9/04, Ocwen tells me that they have done all they can and that the delay is due to the credit reporting agencies, not Ocwen. Ocwen is NOT customer service oriented, they hung up on me many times when I insisted on speaking to a supervisor, they lie, they don't return phone calls and they obviously do NOT correct their own errors.
