A $0.50 account overdraft developed through an unexpected double charge of $2 because of use of a foreign atm. Went out of state on business with a new phone without knowing of the overdraft. Next thing known, the charge is $90 after 2 months and $190 after 4 months! That's an annual rate of 152,000%! This is known in other places as "highway robbery." After appeal, the answer is, "Nothing can be done. Pay up!" Someone should write laws against such predatory fees, and someone should take lessons in good old "customer service."
