Do not use this company.
I have used many van hire companies in the past and never had any problems in getting back my deposit. Everytime you call you get a different reason why the deposit has not been paid:
1) Streamline takes two weeks, this is rubbish it takes three days
2) It is company policy to hold the deposit for two weeks to ensure that no parking tickets or speeding tickets are issues, again rubbish as they have the drivers details and they simply complete a form for the relevant authority informing them of the drivers details
3) The delay is due to the Natwest problem, again rubbish as according to Natwest 99% of accounts are now running properly
Also in their terms and conditions the deposit is refunded on returning the vehicle.
I am left with no alternative but to instruct Solicitors, this is becoming expensive as I only hired the van for one day!
