This company has been calling almost daily. They are saying they need to collect $1454.60 from a Citibank Master Card from 1989. I have not has any type of credit card since before 1985. When they first called, I told them they were mistaken. When he tried to argue with me I just said, "You'll just have to eat it!" and hung up.
I immediately went to the computer and typed in their phone number. That is how I found all of the other compaints against them. Three weeks later they sent a formal letter. They have continued to call but I just don't answer. Today I filed a formal complaint with the FTC. If you go to the FTC website and type in CAMCO on "search" you will see where the FTC has already sued them and won once.
If you have had a bad experience with them you need to file a formal complaint also. They need to be put out of business!!!
