An online company called Score Sense tricked me into a monthly credit monitoring contract. They offered a one-time credit score check for the amount of $1.00. Therefore I allowed them to debt my bank account the 1.00 fee and they emailed my credit score. This transaction took place on June 25. I did not find out until September 25, that Score Sense had been debting my account $29.95 per month since June 25. I contacted my bank to inquire about the transactions. The bank then gave me a phone number to contact this company. When I spoke to an agent of Score Sense, I was assured that my membership with them would be cancelled and was given a conformation number. I explained to the agent and my bank that I did not intend to sign on for a membership and to have my account debted each month. I explained that I only wanted the one-time credit check. The Score Sense agent told me that I should have cancelled my membership after the trial period was complete. I had no idea that I was signing up for a membership with this company. I feel that I was tricked into this agreement. I am in the process of trying to pay off my debt, and get my credit back on track. I can not afford to be ripped off by dishonest entities. I need my money refunded to me. Score Sense stole over $100.00 from me. I need my funds returned to me. Please Help!
