I was looking for loan modification on interenet a man called just before thanksgiving. Said his company was based in Maryland but he had his office at his home in Florida. Said we were approved for modification and he needed $300 to get all the paper work done and forwarded to his boss and that in two weeks our modification would be finialized and we would have lower payments. I sent the money and never heard from him again after repeated calls. I was even sent a contract to sign and fax back to them.
