Solution to Stop CAMCO in Their Tracks!

Format this letter by inputting your needed information. Send it by Certified Letter, returned signature receipt.

If they violate this letter, they are in deep *!!

With this letter, you aren't only stopping them; you are sticking them with a worthless piece of paper. What other company is going to want to buy this "Bad Debt" from them if you barred everyone there after from also contacting you?

Hope this helps everyone that comes across this. This will work for any collection that is past its statue of limitations.

Don't pay a penny, they can't do a thing, especially when they receive a letter to this degree.

Also, keep an eye on your credit report. More than likely how they will attempt to enter their little scam onto your report is by entering it into the "Inquiry" section. There are two sections, one where only you can see the inquiry and the second one that everyone sees. They will attempt to enter it in the second section where everyone sees their name. They do this by saying that you initiated some form of activity that entitles them to enter their name within that section, i.E., filled out a credit application.

If this is the case, simply called the credit reporting agency and inform them that you didn't initiate this and that it is actually a collection company trying to link "derogatory credit" that is over 7-years old. I was very successful in doing this with Experian and the other two reporting agencies. Trans-Union gave me some lip, but knew that legally they couldn't report this and removed the collection company from my report.

Good Luck, and don't give in...

Re: General Collection Notice, {THEIR ACCOUNT NUMBER ON YOU}

{name of scumbag} also add this to cover all bases— "or to whom it may concern"

Today I received a collections notice from your company stating that I owe some form of debt with {COMPANY NAME} in the amount of {DOLLAR AMOUNT}.

I have no knowledge of this creditor, and have never had a creditor by this name.

This letter is hereby demanding documentation of its legitimacy.

If you cannot provide a legitimate claim, and within its statute, you, and anyone assigned hereafter to collect on this debt, being Capital Acquisitions & Management Company, or future collection entities, are hereby ordered not to contact me, or anyone else concerning this matter.

For your protection, and mine, I demand that I have this documentation sent to me certified, requiring a signature, or it will be deemed as fraud, a mistake, or unfounded, and will be rejected as a legitimate collection that can and will be forwarded to the proper law enforcement agencies and Post Master for further investigation.

Sincerely,

{your name}
