I was employed at Interactive Financial Corporation for 4yrs. They recently did not renew their company licenses in the states I was originating loans in so they terminated me as an employee. I had a substantial amount of money in my branch reserve account and now the company will not give it to me.
The branch reserve account is derived from the total commission received on a loan, minus any expenses, then a set amount was reserved in the reserve account for future expenses and then the remaining amount becomes my gross pay check. I submitted payroll forms with a set amount to be withheld for expenses and Interactive Financial Corporation withheld 4 times the amount I requested without my authorization. They said it was their requirement and for future expenses.
Now that I am terminated, the company will not reimburse me my branch reserve account. I have been working with the labor Department and Hunt Gersin claims he doesn't owe me any money.
An ironic thing is that their payroll company they use is located on Crooks Street...
