Will not accept my cancellation, and proceeded to take money from my account without permission. Ripoff! Deltona

Simple credit plus, called me with their offer. I thought i was agreeing to something else, so i went ahead and gave them my bank details (stupid), then immediatley realized who they were, and called them back the same day to cancel. They said no problem, but i had to write an email to cancel, so i did and got a reply telling me i had canceled. I also got a phone call from them to comfirm my cancellation.

I thought that was it, but 3 weeks later $198 was missing from my bank account. I found out it was taken by simple credit plus, so i called customer service to find out what happened they told me i had not cancelled in the 10 days, so they took the money. I told them I had, with an email and someone had even called my house to confirm. They told me they had no message on my account saying that.

They told me they would not give me my money back, as it is on a credit card but i could order $198 worth of stuff, i told them i was not interested, but i wanted my money back, i remembered i have caller i. D and that i still had the number from when the person called me, so i rang that number and the manager answered and was confused how i got that number, when i explained this is the number someone called me on to cancel, he was shock, as no one was to have this number.

I also remembered I had still got the email from them stating I had cancelled, on the first day they had spoke to me - well within the 10 days. I presented it to them and then the manager called me and agreed to a refund. I had also got him to send me a email confirming a refund which he did.

This all happened in the beginning of november, and after 2 months i kept calling him as i have never recieved my refund yet. He kept saying it's on its way. When i would call customer service i was getting different stories about a cheque, then i was told it went out on the 5th jan.2 weeks later it wasn't here, they said it got lost in the mail (i was expecting that) but i did recieve the simple credit pack, containing a catalogue. I have told him i do not want that and in the time it took to send that i could have had the cheque, then on friday the 16th just gone, i get a phone call telling me the a new cheque is on its way, and im still waiting.

My advice to anyone interested in simple credit plus, dont do it. They are so unprofessional. I am now looking in to small claims.
