I am writing about Capital One. I owe them money on three accounts. I am not denying this, however they have added on $60 per month on each account overlimit and late fees which means I feel I will never get them paid off. I have missed some work and am behind on things because my husband is in renal failure and is really sick and he cannot get any rest because they call about 4 or 5 times a day.
They call starting early in the morning and late at night, weekends, even on Sunday. I have quit answering their calls, I do not want to change my phone number. When I told them they did not have the right to call that much they said yes they did because they are owed money and the calls would continue.
I have sent them money several times on the account and a different one will call me acting like she did not know that someone else had taken a payment. They have harrassed me so much I dont want to try to catch the account up any more.
They offer cards with $300 credit limits and their yearly fee is $69. I know they are crooked, they are cruel if nothing else though. This is such a big burden on top of everything else right now. I hope I see them on 20/20 someday, exposed for the unfair business practices they do. Please respond if you also have a Capital One hell hound on your tail!
