Beware of due date changes

I've been a Chase Credit Card customer for several years and have had the same due date for my payment. Chase changed the due date to a week earlier. Yes, they gave notice of it in there statement. Which takes care of their legal obligation; but there ethical obligation and poor business practices are another matter.
