Ripoff Fraudulent acts deceptive trade practices - BEWARE Interest scam

We have been long time customers of Chase Credit card, and have always made our payments on time.

Recently we received an offer from Chase to transfer our higher interest credit card debt to our Chase card with an introductory 0% finance charge on all balances transferred. We jumped at the chance to pay off our other high interest credit card through this offer so we could pay the balance off quicker.

We just received our first statement in the mail since we transferred the other credit card balance. To our surprise, our statement noted that we had a 28% interest on the amount we just transferred over. Thinking that there must be some type of mistake, we called Chase to inquire about the interest rate. We were told that the balance transfer check that we used for chase was out of date (it wasn't, I checked), and that was the reason for the interest rate increase. We asked how it could be out of date being that they just sent the transfer checks to us? They could not answer our question, and refused to lower the rate.

We are now stuck wih a 28% APR, which was more than the APR of the other credit card. Needless to say, we are finished with ALL Chase companies. We will never do business with them, or their affiliates again. BEWARE - This company is ruthless, low down scam artist that need to be brought to justice.

If you receive a balance transfer offer from this company, rip it up and send it back to them postage due. The offer is worthless.
