Aspire visa pay assist program... Is great big fraud joke

I am sorry for using all caps, but if i didn't, i wouldn't be able to read what i typed. My eyesight is extremely poor. I hope this does not stop this important report to be filed and or published, just because i had to use all caps.

This is the worst company i have ever dealt with in all of my life!!! I have read all of the rip - off reports about this company, and they are so very true! I wonder if there is truly any people out there who have an account with this company who have not been ripped - off by them in one way or another... Truthfully!!!

This has been my experience with them, and my most recent letter to them. It is impossible to get a live person on the phone, let alone a supervisor, or manager. I don't think they have any.

I also believe that one harasser doesn't know what the other one has done. I don't believe they keep any notes or how to enter the correct information into the computers.

With all of these rip - off complaints from their account holders... Something needs to be done. I know just what it is too! I will keep you all posted

Dear aspire,
we are really upset with your harassments, mix-ups, false accusations. We are seeking legal help with this and reporting you to the better business bureau, along with the long list of complaints that have already been filed against your company.

We have been making our payments on time, we have not skipped one payment, we have not been late. We have been on the "pay assist program" i paid $122.00 as follows:
07-07-03 amt. $122.00 by phone, this one is in my old check register, but i can find it... If you really need it for proof.
08-07-03 amt. $122.00 by phone to mrs. Hale conformation # 13594370-3
09-07-03 amt.$122.00 payment on line conformation # 136876333
10-07-03 a phone call came in to my home requesting a payment of $100.00, which i paid on that day conformation# 137783083
another payment of $100.00 is due again now, i have been calling your company, but i keep getting a recording saying reps are taking care of other customers please call back later.

What i was told by "irene" is we made an agreement that we would be put on a "special" type of pay assist program that if we paid $122.00 on time for 3 months, not be late either, which we have not been late, and we have made the required payments as agreed upon,
once we started this "special pay assist program", we would not be charged any late fees, over the limit fees, phone fees and 0% interest... And as long as we kept our agreement... Then this would apply till the bill was paid in full... However, we have kept our part of the agreement... But your company has not!

We are still being charged late fees, phone fees and over the limit fees and interest! Your company and the employees are not honest at all! You lied to us under false pretenses, we are no better now than we were before!!!

I always make my payment on the 7th of each month, mainly by phone. I also explain to the rep who is taking the phone payment that we are not to be charged for any of those charges, including phone fees. They lie. They lie! They say "oh no mam... I will wave the phone fee. You will not be charged any fees" yet when i get a new bill, it is threatening. It is a big lie. False charges of fees are on there. And we are charged for over the limit, phone and interest fees!

This is totally unfair! It is all a big lie! We did and do not run from our obligations to our creditors.
We may have had some problems in the past, but i straightened those problems out, or at least you gave me the impression i did.

I can make a payment on the 7th of the month, each month. And from the 8th of each month through the end of each month going into the next of each month till i call again on the 7th of each month with another payment. Your bill collectors start calling me. Morning, noon and night..including the weekends.

This is totally uncalled for! This makes no sense at all!
Why should they call us every day. Every afternoon, every night including weekends for another payment beginning on the 8th of the month. Each month until the next month when i make another payment! I call... Make a payment for each month, and they still harass me! There is no sense talking to them. They do not have enough brains to comprehend that i just made a payment for that month. And that we are on the "special pay assist" program. Not just for 6 months either, let me make this as clear as i can. I talked to irene who told me about the "special pay assist program", and i asked her what happens after the 6 months. She clearly stated "that as long as we do not default, which we have not, that the over the limit fees, the late fees, phone fees and interest of 0% will stay in effect until the bill has been paid in full" which clearly means as long as we do not default that there will be no more late fees, no more over the limit fees, no more interest and no more phone fees" you have clearly reneged on our agreement! Clearly!

Believe me, the mistakes or errors or broken promises are not on or from our end. They are all clearly on the end of aspire's and their employees. The worst thing anyone could ever do is open an account with a crooked company named" aspire" that was our biggest mistake, and according to the long list of complaints against you from other customers. We are not the only ones!

I highly suggest that each employee lets the other employees know what the status is on each account holder, and the correct information is entered into the computer. And copies of each rep's notes are accurately kept.

I am requesting that you audit our account. Correct all mistakes that have been made by and on behalf of your company and send it to me. Via e-mail. Fax. Or snail mail. I want a complete record of our account.
"a complete record" including and not limited to
each phone call aspire has made to our phone number, the date, time and any and all notes that caller has made "if any at all was made that is" and get it to me a.S.A.P. I will send you a copy of the letter i am sending to the b.B.B. Also and the attorney general's office consumer affairs dept.
