Litton Loan Servicing Co
Incompetent & Unethical Financial Practices... Totally Inable to provide financial services to the banking industry!

Litton is the most incompetent loan servicing company that I have ever encountered. They represent Bank of America and others in the industry. Obviously BOA does not have a clue as to the non-ability of this organization to service the accounts assigned to Litton.

My experience was in regard to an attempt to modify a mortgage according to the Federal Guidelines established last year and modified this year. I contacted Litton in August regarding this effort. They sent information to me in September (3 weeks after the initial contact) for me to complete. There were a number of items in the request which had to be in their hands two days after receipt because it took 10 days from the date it was originated to reach me in SC.in all there were 16 pages to be submitted along with a first loan installment based upon their new calculations. I complied and overnighted the check & data to them. I heard from them 4 weeks later by phone and mail requesting more information. I complied. I continued to send payments for November and December. I received another call in December that requested the same information and additional copies of bank records. I overnighted this info and sent fax copies also on 12 December and I have the FEDEX receipts and fax receipt to prove this. (Each time I am communicating with different women in this effort.) I heard nothing from them until the end of January when they RETURNED my bank check for the January payment. I called and was told they never received the info in December. After further discussion the lady told me the info was indeed there but the individual did not enter the data into their system. The account was closed for non-compliance. I was told by the representative that even though their employee had failed to scan the documents in the system that it was MY problem and that I was in default even after sending four payments on time again by FEDEX.

They have continued to defraud the Federal process and I do not trust them. I have elected to do a short-sell rather than attempt to work with these incompetent people.By the way they did take over $6,000 from me and I have nothing to show for it. I would gladly join a class-action suit against this "rip-off" company.

Let me add this to the saga. I repeatedly and still today receive computer generated phone calls from the company stating that "representatives from Litton Loan Co. Have attempted to contact me earlier today and that they would appreciate a call back...".in each and every case NO ONE has called me but the computer. This makes me believe that this provides a record of an attempted call in their system which is a ruse at the very least. I have tried to call the same person in every call I have made and have left messages with the individual that I spoke with previously and received no return calls.

These people are going through the motions and getting paid by the big banks they represent without doing the real job they are paid to do. The banks and this company should be pursued by the legal system. It is no surprise that BOA has processed so few loan modifications with the incompetent service they have contracted to handle the work. The Feds are just as much at fault. I was told by my Congressman and Senator that they had no recourse except that I could file a complaint with the Comptroller General but that would take months and in the meantime I would lose my home.

To sum this up, I built and purchased my home with a sufficient income stream to pay for it. When the economy dropped, my business died. I made payments for 3 years until everything failed. I find the Administration at fault as well because their program is poorly managed and has no oversight by anyone that is knowledgeable enough to be able to make it work. Congress cannot even address this program because they did not put the capability in their plan. There should be someone at the wheel checking behind the people that are assigned to do the job... Not so much government but the banks who are charged with the responsibility to comply with the laws. Enough said. I am ready to fight if there are any lawyers that want to file a class action.
