I am giving advice on how to screw this company. I read all these stories that everyone has left about how Providian/Emerge has screwed people by increasing the percentage rate and all of you have bad credit because of company like this one screws you.
The best way to deal with them is not to stop paying or harrassing them. Just find some company that consolidates credit card debt and you don't need great credit to do that there are alot of non profit organizations just be careful when you find one and call the better business bureau.
When you have alot of debt and need to pay it off CONSOLIDATE THEY REDUCE YOUR PERCENTAGE RATE BY 20% so instead of paying 15%-29.99% they can reduce your payment and give you more time to pay it off. Yes, credit counseling foundation will go on your credit report but as soon as you complete it it does come off your record. Screw those who screw you.
