I am sick to my stomach reading these reports on Ocwen. I and my husband are first time home buyers. Our loan originally belonged to franklin fedral bank we had no problems with them.
Our loan was just bought by Ocwen on July 1st 2003. We have two morgatges on our house we filed a bancruptcy last year so this was the only way we could get a loan and we are locked into it for two years before we can refinance.
Franklin told us to send the full payment to them and the would forward Ocwens half to them. Oh god it took them two weeks to get it to Ocwen so we got recorded calls from amy every friken day.
It says by law when a loan is sold you have up to 30 days to make your payment and the cannot charge you a lait fee. I fear for what they have on us. Last Friday July 31st I sent payment to Ocwen threw my Credit union threw our online banking this will keep a record of payment. It was due on the 1st August.
Well August 1st my Husband received A call from Ocwen But was at work I am not othorized to talk to them, I am not on the account. Then August 2nd this woman calls my husband at 8:30 am Not even making any sense he could barley understand her she was Indian. She was rambling off a bunch of phone numbers to him. And she says have you mailed your august payment he says yes then she says what was the check Number he was pissed by then, thank god he did not give the check # He finally told her you no what I dont have time for this I am going to have my breakfast and hung up on her. Who are these people! I am scared to death of what might happen Any suggestions please. This company has to be stoped!!!
