Bank Of America
BOA has a complete disregard for customer privacy

My checking account balance is currently at over -$400 even though I deposited $1,000 into it on the first.

I checked the previous statement and discovered that at the end of the month my account had gone to over -$700.

I have been enrolled in their overdraft protection program since I turned eighteen [two and a half years ago.] My BOA credit card had a balance of $0, so there was no reason for any of it.

A few days later, my mother called to ask me about the balance&except, she shouldn't have known about it at all. She is not on the same account with me and I had never given written or verbal consent for my account information to be shared with her.

Even worse, she then told me that when she opened her account, she had requested that if my account went negative, to take it from her account.

Without so much as a second though, the woman did so and without my consent & I'm certain that that goes against one policy or another.

My bills are all automatically withdrawn from my checking account & when it becomes overdrafted, my credit card is supposed to be used in its place.

Instead, the woman removed my overdraft protection and apparently decided that since she'd already violated my privacy, she might as well not do what my mother had asked.

My health insurance has been cancelled, my medical & utility bills have been left unpaid, and all of these ridiculous overdraft fees [which should never have been applied to my account in the first place] have made it so that I can not go to my doctor or my orthodontist, pick up my medication, or even buy food.

What can I do other than play telephone tag with them or sit in their office while they attempt to tell me that they would never do such a thing.

From what I've read on this website and a few others&it's a complete waste of time, especially because I will not pretend that it is my fault to sway them into feeling as if they are doing me some sort of favor.

P.S. I haven't checked yet, but I'm pretty sure that this will ruin my credit.
