Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
Rip off and scam

Last year I had to file chapter 13 to stop my house from foreclosure. I had fallen behind on payments the previous year and was working with Wells Fargo loss mitigation to work out a modification.

After a full year of sending money and talking to several representives, all who told me something different. I was contacted about a trail agreement that would keep me from foreclouser.

All I would need to do is sign paperwork and make 4 payments of higher amounts then current payment and then they would roll the balance over into a modification.

When I received the paperwork it was not what I was told. The paperwork had 4 payments however the 4th payment was the entire balance that was overdue. I contacted the gentleman I spoke to and he stated I would not need to worry about it as long as I called before payment was due.

So I did exactly that. After several attempts, I was called by another representitive but unable to take the call. When I called her back 1 hour later I was unsucessful. I tried several times and finially got another representitive to speak with me. I was told the reason they had tried to contact me was they needed my financial information.

I gave information over phone and was said to hear back in one week. That never happened. I called again to ask and was told this time that the computer wasn't taking my information and I would receive a packet to fill out.

That never happened either. At last I called again and was told that my modification was denied because I did not adhere to the trial agreement and contact them. I told the representitive that was not true and when she investigated into it she came back with the amount owed was too high to modify.

I was three months pregnant and had no other choice but to file chapter 13.

Now I am trying to apply under the Obama plan and again they are given me the run around. My lawyer has sent a consent letter which they say takes thirty to 45 days to update. I have been dealing with this since march.
Last friday when I called again I was told that nothing has been received and they need a hardship letter, worksheet and paystubs with the consent letter.

Everyone says something different. I know I qualify because my loan is a Fannie mae loan, I had a pay reduction and because I am repaying the amount past due through the chapter 13, I am deliquent. However since the chapter 13 I am in goodstanding for over one year with on time payments.

I am a single mom struggling and do not want to default. If anyones has conquered this please help with advice.
