I found them online while trying to be proactive knowing that we were headed for trouble. I am a disabled veteran, 65 years of age that has a 11.14% mortgage with Beneficial. My wife lost her job after 15 years of work with Airborne Experss/DHL. They closed their doors and she was out. We lost significant income because of this, she is drawing unemployment but still not near what she was making while working. I needed to have our bogus mortgage modified. I did not know that there is an organization located here locally that would help us without charge before I gave Group One the money.in the beginning of February I contacted Group One and paid them the fees they wanted to take our case. I then found out about the non profit agency here and called Group One and told them to stop. They refused and told me that they did not understand why I wanted to stop the process. I told them two ohter times unsuccessfully until one day I called Beneficial from the Non profit groups office and told Beneficial to cease giving them any information regarding my mortgage. I again asked for our money beck per the written 100% money back gurrantee. I had the document in my posession and was told no they would not refund any of the money. I asked them to send me a summary of what they had done on the case since February. I had waited till April to stop them giving them ample chance to earn the money and help us out. I have filed complaints with the Arizona and Texas Attorney General office. Please do not do business with these guys as they will steal you blind.
