I along with others have experienced the same issue with Web Country. Apparently, web country registers a domain name for you, under their name, and then takes control of the domain name, charging you year after year after year.
I have attempted on numeruos occasions to try to cancel my account with Web Country. They have not returned any of my messages, and my credit card continues to be charged.
I have since written the Better Business Bureau and they have received many complaints of the same nature about this company.
I urge you to contact the BBB to lodge the same complaint.
