Had account for 2 years, made one mistake first month bounced check, i immeadiatly payed them and gave them a reasonable explaination, they closed account anyways.
I had a ins plan on account that i wanted to be removed called them 20 times to try to remove it, they did not i also tryed to get them to reoppen the account and lower the interest to less than 28.9.
Never got any response untill i wrote them by registered mail 2 times, stating that i wouldn't continue paying my balance until my account was reasonably fixed, thus exercising my right under the "consumer credit protection act"they finally responded but not to my favor but they did refund me the fees that i had been paying for the past 1.5 years (the ins fees).
They only changed my interest to 22.9 for 1 month then jacked it back up to 28.9 and reported me delinquent anyways, they charged me late fees, and when they responded by mail they didn't give me any time frame to make up the payment that i had missed, even though they did admit to some wrong doing.
Just recently i have contacted them to try to reinstate my card again, they just wrote me saying that because that i was delinquent for that "1" month they couldn't honor my request i have tried to get a balance transfer else where but since i still have to little credit history cannot do this.
Currently i am continuing paying this debt and getting the balance down by 1.00 a month and i am now considering turning them in to the comtroller of the currency i have all the paper work to do so.
