In the month of Agust I join an agency to assitme in paying off this account.instead of DMB working with me to pay off this account (Money Management Inc.), they continue to add different fees to the account.
The balance on the account in August was 9500. During the past 16 months I have make my required payments on the account on time and the balance has gone to 12,945.48. Even working though an get out of debt agency, I have been charged fees of 39.00 (overlimit fee), 39.00 (late fee: which I was told I would not be charged), and 318.00 finance charge a month. That is 396.00 added monthly to my account. With my payment (what I can afford) being made though the agency, the balance does not decrease but increase because of the added fees.
I have talked with people from DMB and gone up on my monthly payment different times and DMB still refuses to work with me in paying off this account. I receive atleast 20 calls a day from their collection agency (Metris). I do not know to do about this account, especially when DMB refuses to help me. Please Help Me.
