Direct Merchants Bank is the worst credit card company I have ever delt with. I make payments within 10 days of the due date and always pay the amounts they show due; However, my balance continues to exceed the credit limit because they charge unimaginable fees.
I have asked for my account to be closed. Today, I received a phone call from one of their reps wanting to know when I was going to make a payment.
I explained that I always send in my payments every month just like I'm required to do. They wanted to know why I continued to exceed my balance.
I pointed out to them that I haven't used the card in over a year, but for some strange reason, my balance continues to go up because of all of their fraudulent fees!!! I've totally had it with them and their phone calls. They are a total rip-off company and should be put out of business!
