I got a Chase credit card at Circuit City with a 0% promo rate for 18 months. After a couple months, I tried to set up online pay and had online issues-I had to call their tech support. As a result, my payment was a couple days late. The promo rate was dropped and the new rate was over 83%. That's right-83%!!! I understand a promo rate being changed with a late payment but 83% is absolutely disgusting and unethical loan sharking. This company is scum as far I am concerned. Needless to say, I paid off the balance so these crooks will not get another penny from me. What a horrible way to treat customers! DO NOT get a credit card with them for any reason as they obviously are just looking to screw their customers over as much as possible.
